Before the start of the Credit Union SacTown Run, Diana Dykstra, president/CEO of the California and Nevada Credit Union Leagues, took time to speak with local KCRA3 news.
The race, which serves as a Credit Union for Kids fundraiser to benefit Children's Miracle Network Hospitals, coincided with the Credit Union Cherry Blossom Run and Festival in Washington D.C. on April 3rd. The SacTown Run features 10-mile and 5k races, as well as the UC Davis Children's Hospital Miracle Mile fun run and fitness walk.
Since 2002‚ credit unions and business partners donated over $7 million for Children's Miracle Network Hospitals nationwide.
