The Albuquerque, N.M.-based CU Anytime said it plans to improve performance and consumer experience by upgrading its ATM management system to an integrated, channel management platform from the Duluth, Ga.-based NCR and the Burnaby, British Columbia, Canada-based INETCO.

CU Anytime will install NCR's APTRA Vision, a multi-vendor, self-service management solution; and NCR's APTRA OptiCash, a cashpoint cost optimization solution; as well as INETCO Insight, a real-time transaction monitoring and analytics software that captures all ATM payments and transactions.

The new platform allows CU Anytime, a CUSO formed to provide an ATM network for participating credit unions, to manage its entire network of more than 225 multi-vendor ATMs.

"CU Anytime is committed to offering quality services to our members, while improving our business performance," Pat Holland, president/CEO for CU Anytime, said. "Implementing NCR's integrated, channel management platform is a critical step forward for us to achieve operational excellence, cost effectiveness and improved member experiences."

According to NCR, APTRA Vision provides all of the incident management and operational data of previous of management systems, and combines them with commercial and business data from a wide variety of other sources. APTRA Vision correlates data from individual ATMs, and presents it in an easy to use interface, which enables financial institutions to discover hidden relationships between different performance influencing factors, NCR said.

In addition, APTRA Vision enables automatic, pre-emptive actions along with remote management and command functions. For example, it helps ensure entire ATM fleets receive a new software patch.

NCR APTRA OptiCash forecasts individual requirements for each cashpoint in the network. It analyzes data directly from the ATM or existing infrastructure sources to generate a forecast and cost optimized replenishment strategy for every cashpoint, taking cost factors, servicing constraints and capacities into account.

The INETCO Insight transaction monitoring software complements APTRA Vision by providing real-time alerting and end-to-end visibility into consumer transactions at an ATM or any other member-facing touch point such as a mobile application, kiosk or online banking application.

"NCR's channel management solution platform strategically aligns with CU Anytime's priority of exceptional service delivery," Brian Bailey, vice president of solutions management for NCR Financial Services, said.
