As a new baseball season gets under way this month, fans in Nevada and Tennessee will see a couple of new names at their ballparks.

The $584 million Greater Nevada Credit Union in Carson City, Nev., entered into a 15-year naming rights agreement for the home venue of the Reno Aces Baseball Club in Reno, a Triple A affiliate of Major League Baseball's Arizona Diamondbacks.

The ballpark will be named Greater Nevada Field. Terms of the agreement were not disclosed.

In Tennessee, the Appalachian League's Johnson City Cardinals venue will be named TVA Credit Union Ballpark. The minor league baseball club is affiliated with MLB's St. Louis Cardinals. The terms and length of the naming rights deal were not disclosed.

The Reno Aces Baseball Club deal will give Greater Nevada exclusive sponsorship and advertising rights, as well as prominent signage on the ballpark's exterior façade, the scoreboard at left center field and other locations throughout the ballpark.

In addition to the minor league baseball team, the Greater Nevada Field will be the home of the 1868 Football Club, which is affiliated with the United Soccer League, the largest professional soccer league in the U.S., Canada and the world with 29 teams in 19 states and three Canadian provinces.

"We believe we share a mutual commitment toward encouraging continued economic revitalization and community development in our region," Greater Nevada President/CEO Wally Murray said. "We're looking forward to Greater Nevada Field becoming a year-round venue that hosts a variety of events and programs and provides a multitude of safe and enjoyable experiences for families, individuals and groups."

In conjunction with the naming rights agreement between the $1.5 billion Knoxville TVA Employees Credit Union and the Johnson City Cardinals, it was announced that more than $400,000 in upgrades will be made to the ballpark.

"Baseball is a wonderful sport that brings the community together, and it doesn't break the bank," Tammy Combs, manager for Knoxville TVA Employees' branch in Johnson City. "At the end of the day, it's about the Johnson City community and giving the residents a great experience."
