The NCUA announced Monday that CUSOs will have 60 days to register with the agency's CUSO registry.
Registration begins on Feb. 1 and ends March 31; there is no fee to register. The regulator will provide additional information and customer support after the go-live date. Additionally, the agency will host a webinar on Feb. 11 at 2:30 p.m. ET at no charge. Webinar attendees may submit questions to discuss during the session to [email protected].
Federally insured credit unions must ensure the CUSOs they invest in or make loans to provide their information to the NCUA. The CUSO registry page can be found here.
