The newly-formed Heartland Credit Union Association elected its inaugural board of directors after member credit unions in Kansas and Missouri electronically casted their votes last week, the association said Tuesday.
The new board will set the course for the new two-state trade association that was established after the members of the Kansas Credit Union Association and the Missouri Credit Union Association decided to consolidate in October, according to a prepared Heartland association statement.
The board is expected to select the new league president/CEO during the first quarter of next year.
