Former Mississippi State Senator Tommy Robertson, a former attorney for the board of directors of the $194 million Singing River Federal Credit Union, pleaded guilty in Jackson County Circuit Court Monday to embezzling more than $375,000 from the Moss Point, Miss.-based cooperative.
Robertson's case was turned over to the Mississippi Department of Corrections' Probation and Parole Office to conduct a presentencing report, according to Willa Witchen, deputy Clerk of Courts for Jackson County Circuit Court in Pascagoula.
A sentencing hearing has not been scheduled, Witchen said.
