The $1.2 billion Workers' Credit Union in Fitchburg, Mass. hired Alysa R. Duval as vice president of marketing and product development. Duval previously worked for Bose Corporation as a project supervisor. She has graduate certification in project management from Boston University and serves on the business technology advisory board of Montachusett Regional Vocational Technical School.

MIDWEST

The $484 million Heritage Federal Credit Union in Newburgh, Ind. promoted David Milligan from vice president of e-services and deposit support operations to chief risk officer. Milligan joined Heritage FCU as director of internal audit in January 2011. Three months later, he was promoted to vice president of e-services and deposit support operations. He came to the credit union from Vectren Corporation in Evansville, Ind., where he served as corporate audit manager, and has more than 25 years of banking experience.

Nora Hickey, senior residential lending specialist for the $304 million DuPage Credit Union in Naperville, Ill. received a Five Star Professional Award for her exemplary service in the mortgage industry and was featured along with other local recipients in the October edition of Chicago magazine. The award is presented each year to less than 3% of mortgage professionals in the Chicago metropolitan area, and recipients are nominated by homebuyers and real estate agents they helped during the previous year.

Claire Kellems, assistant vice president of process and data analytics for the $309 million INOVA Federal Credit Union in Elkhart, Ind., was a recipient of the Indiana Credit Union League's 2015 Emerging Leadership Award. The award was developed to recognize the next generation of credit union leaders in Indiana for their accomplishments and potential to be an Indiana credit union leader in the future.

SOUTH

The $577 million First Service Credit Union of Houston hired Toby Hayes as vice president of marketing. Hayes started his career as a newspaper reporter and editor in Utah, and then became a corporate communications specialist for SkyWest Airlines before launching his credit union career in 2007. He comes to First Service CU from the $226 million Cabrillo Credit Union in San Diego, where he served as vice president and chief marketing officer.

WEST

Redwood Credit Union promoted Christina Cook to executive vice president and CFO. Formerly senior vice president of finance at the $2.6 billion, Santa Rosa, Calif.-based credit union, Cook will now oversee Redwood CU's accounting and finance departments, and various financial operations. She has more than 25 years of financial leadership experience, including nearly 10 years as CFO for the Bank of Marin in Novato, Calif. Before joining Redwood Credit Union in 2014, she served as CFO for First California Mortgage Company in Petaluma, Calif.

Sheryl Cox (pictured at left), the vice president of governmental affairs for the $6.9 billion America First Credit Union of Riverdale, Utah, was awarded the 2015 Wingman Award. Colonel Ronald E. Jolly of Hill Air Force Base presented Cox with the award at the Air Force Ball in the Ogden Conference Center on Sept. 19. She currently serves as chair of the Top of Utah Military Affairs Committee and has been a strong military advocate for more than 20 years.

Barbara Mathey, president/CEO of the $66 million, Portland, Ore.-based IBEW & United Workers Federal Credit Union, has been elected to serve as the 2015-2016 chair of the Northwest Credit Union Foundation's board of directors. Mathey, who has already dedicated eight years of board service, succeeds Steve Wilder, cooperative engagement administrator for $716 million Horizon Credit Union in Spokane Valley, Wash.

The $4.2 billion Ent Federal Credit Union in Colorado Springs, Colo. hired Tami Zamborelli as a corporate lending officer. Zamborelli has more than 11 years of financial services experience, and most recently served as senior vice president of commercial banking for Adams Bank & Trust in Colorado Springs.
