Dan Mica, former CUNA CEO (1996- 2010), led credit unions in support of H.R. 1151, which expanded credit union access to consumers.

Kim Sponem, president/CEO of Summit CU since 2010, was one of the youngest women to lead a billion dollar credit union. 

Roger Jepsen, former NCUA board chair (1985-1993), strengthened the NCUSIF during the S&L crisis and an economic downturn.

Sarah Canepa Bang, president/chief strategy officer, CO-OP Shared Branching (2012-present) and former FSCC CEO (1999-2012) greatly expanded branch access to consumers and continues to promote technological innovation in the industry.

Juri Valdov, retired president/CEO of Northwest Federal CU, was also a former CUNA chairman and chairman of the Credit Union Miracle Day effort.

Cutler Dawson has served as president/CEO of Navy Federal Credit Union, the world's largest credit union, since 2004.

Dick Ensweiler is president/CEO of the Cornerstone Credit Union League and has also led the Minnesota and Illinois leagues.

Pete Crear, former president/CEO of WOCCU, expanded its membership and services throughout the world.
