The House Financial Services Committee announced late Tuesday that a hearing featuring NCUA Chairman Debbie Matz was moved from Friday, July 24 to Thursday, July 23 at 2 p.m. Eastern Time.
The hearing, in which Matz will be the only witness, will be conducted by the Financial Institutions and Consumer Credit Subcommittee in room 2128 in the Rayburn House Office Building. The event is expected to be broadcast online via live feed through the committee's website.
The hearing will focus on the NCUA's budget and other oversight issues. The financial institutions subcommittee is chaired by Rep. Randy Neugebauer (R-Texas). Wm. Lacy Clay (D-Mo.) is the committee's minority party ranking member.

Also on Thursday, the NCUA board will conduct its monthly meeting. The board is expected to eliminate the 5% fixed assets limit and review the current year's operating budget. That meeting will be available via live feed available Thursday morning on the NCUA website.
