Two high ranking officials at the NCUA confirmed Monday that Chairman Debbie Matz will testify before the House Financial Services Subcommittee on Financial Institutions and Consumer Credit.
The hearing, scheduled for Friday, July 24, will focus on the NCUA's budget and other oversight issues. The financial institutions subcommittee is chaired by Rep. Randy Neugebauer (R-Texas). Wm. Lacy Clay (D-Mo.) is the committee's minority party ranking member.
The hearing will come the day after the next NCUA monthly board meeting, which is expected to include on its agenda the agency's mid-year budget adjustment.
