With April as National Child Abuse Prevention Month, Robins Federal Credit Union recently sponsored awareness related events at Rainbow House Children's Resource Center.

For more than a decade, the $1.9 billion credit union based in Warner Robins, Ga., has supported Rainbow House and its fight against child abuse.

Rainbow House is an organization devoted to reducing the occurrence of child abuse and helping the victims. Community awareness efforts have ranged from child abuse education, advocacy, treatment and providing family support, to prevention and training. The house itself is a child-friendly facility designed with a focus on creating a safe environment where children can feel more comfortable talking about their situation.
