Guy Kawasaki, chief evangelist of Canva and executive fellow at the Hass School of Business at U.C. Berkley, will be the keynote speaker at the Austin, Texas- based Q2's seventh annual client conference, CONNECT 15, on April 27.

“Flailing, grinding, thrashing and getting lucky are why companies succeed,” Kawasaki said in “Reality Check,” one of the nine books he has written. He is also a former advisor to the Motorola business unit of Google and Apple's chief evangelist.

CONNECT 15 is an opportunity for Q2, a provider of cloud-based virtual banking solutions, to share insight into its plans for the coming year, provide education opportunities and collaborate face-to-face with its customers to ensure expectations are not only met, but exceeded, the company said. All of these expectations, according to a company release, allow Q2 to continue to innovate and build products that help its customers grow.

More than 400 senior management and C-level roles from various community and regional financial institutions across the country are expected to gather at the Hyatt Regency Lost Pines Resort and Spa in Cedar Creek, Texas to experience sessions covering security, compliance, marketing, strategic insights and technology, all of which will be hosted by Q2's executive team.

“This year at CONNECT, everything is focused on our 'different by design' theme, so we'll be speaking with our clients about new ways they can inspire their end users and use technology to drive business solutions,” said Matt Flake, president/CEO of Q2. “We are committed to bringing our clients together to engage with inspiring experts from a wealth of industries, and hearing from Guy Kawasaki is certain to leave them thinking about ways to enchant and engage today's consumer in ways that make banking delightful while making the business of banking smarter.”
