Andy F. Harris was promoted to president/CEO of the $165 million Coosa Valley Credit Union on March 2. He joined Coosa Valley CU in 2010 and served as its vice president of lending and member support services.
Harris replaced Ron Tomlinson who served as president/CEO of the Rome, Ga.-based cooperative for 21 years. Tomlinson will retire June 30, the credit union said in a prepared statement.
"I have thoroughly enjoyed my time here at Coosa Valley and will miss the employees who have not only been exceptional to work with but who have become true friends," Tomlinson said. "I think Andy is an excellent choice to continue and further the success that Coosa Valley has worked very hard to obtain."
