Neighbors Credit Union has lived up to its name as far as supporting the communities served.

The $308 million credit union based in St. Louis, Mo. donated $13,574.21 to Children's Miracle Network Hospitals of Greater St. Louis. Fundraising efforts ranged from bake sales and paper balloon sales to employee dress down days, Six Flags ticket sales and holiday money envelope sales.

Over the past 18 years, Neighbors CU has raised over $146,887.38 for CMN.

“Neighbors Credit Union is extremely proud to raise money and increase awareness for CMN,” said Becky Buehl, vice president of marketing. “We all benefit by having CMN and the two local children’s hospitals it supports.”

CMN of Greater St. Louis raises money for St. Louis Children's Hospital and SSM Cardinal Glennon Children's Medical Center, which treat all children regardless of the family's ability to pay.
