Veridian Insurance has purchased Fleener Insurance Services Inc.
Veridian Insurance is a division of The Veridian Group Inc., a wholly-owned subsidiary of the $2.4 billion Veridian Credit Union in Waterloo, Iowa.
Terms of the acquisition were not disclosed, according to a prepared statement from Veridian Credit Union.

Dave Fleener, the former owner of Fleener Insurance, will serve as a consultant for Veridian Insurance, and agent Nancy Phillips, will continue to work at the Fleener office in Iowa City, Iowa.
"We anticipate a smooth transition, and we're excited about the future," John Hlas, SVP of Veridian Insurance, said in a prepared statement.
