The CUNA Technology Council is seeking representatives to serve on the new Credit Union Financial eXchange Vendor Advisory Board.
The advisory board, which was recently approved by the council, will assist with the promotion, adoption and support of the CUFX standard. CUNA said the standard will benefit every organization involved with credit union industry.
According to the technology council, CUFX is "designed to reduce the time and cost associated with systems integration (between applications like online banking and core systems), which will help credit unions quickly deliver new solutions to members and provide a positive and consistent experience across channels."
Members of the board include application/solution providers, core system providers, and CUSOs.
Meetings are set to begin in the first quarter of 2015 and the council is currently accepting applications from those interested in serving.
"We are excited to see how the new CUFX Vendor Advisory Board shapes and promotes the CUFX standard," Belinda Caillouet, technology council chair and chief operations and information officer at the $1.9 billion Spokane Teachers Credit Union in Spokane, Wash., said.
"Widespread adoption of the CUFX standard will change the credit union industry by simplifying the implementation process, reducing integration time and costs and improving the member experience with the latest technologies," she added.
