Three credit unions of various sizes have announced plans to convert to different core data processing systems.
The $30 million Pipefitters Steamfitters Credit Union in St. Paul, Minn., said it has committed to the Sharetec System, provided through Bradford-Scott Data Corp. The cooperative serves 3,200 members.
According to information provided by Callahan & Associates, Pipefitters Steamfitters CU is currently running on the UltraData Enterprise platform from D+H.
Based in Santa Rosa, Calif., the $170 million Community First Credit Union with 16,800 members, said it will be converting to the KeyStone core platform provided by Corelation Inc., in July 2016. Callahan data showed that the credit union is currently using Symitar's Episys data processing system.
The largest of the three credit unions making a core processor move is the $405 million Educational Community Credit Union in Kalamazoo, Mich. The financial institution said it has selected Fiserv's DNA platform.
According to Callahan data, ECCU will be converting from Advantage, another Fiserv platform. The cooperative, which serves 37,000 members, is the sixth largest credit union currently running on the Advantage platform.
