Who needs golf when there's paintball?
Local credit unions suited up and took aim at one another during Georgia United Credit Union's 12th annual Credit Union Paintball Tournament to raise money for the Georgia Credit Union Affiliates' Political Action Committee fund.
The $998 million credit union's popular alternative to more traditional golf fundraisers raised $10,821.
This year, 12 teams of 7 players each, competed in a “round robin” elimination tournament at Paintball Arena in Alpharetta, Ga., in a bid for trophies and bragging rights.
Reigning paintball champion, DOCO Credit Union held onto its top spot. Teams from Georgia's Own Credit Union and Georgia United Credit Union rounded out the top three with second and third place, respectively.
