In effort to help credit unions keep up with developments surrounding the Apple Pay mobile payment system, CO-OP Financial Services announced it has scheduled a new webinar on tokenization and added a Tokenization Resource Center to its website.

The "Innovations in Payments" webinar is scheduled for Tuesday, Nov. 18, at 1 p.m. ET. The webinar will be presented by two CO-OP Financial Services team members: Caroline Willard, EVP of markets and strategy, and Michelle Thornton, manager of core products.

"CO-OP is working with business partners and clients to make sure credit unions have the technical and marketing education they need to take advantage of the new Apple wallet," Stan Hollen, president/CEO of the Rancho Cucamonga, Calif.-based CO-OP, said. "This has included not only helping credit unions understand the Apple Pay opportunity, but providing the assistance needed to actually become enrolled as participants."

CO-OP conducted two tokenization webinars Sept. 24 that attracted 1,100 participants, which was a record for the company, the organization said.

Other organizations have also hosted recent webinars on tokenization to help credit unions prepare for Apple Pay and the changing payment environment.

A recording of CO-OP's Sept. 24 webinars, along with a FAQ, an "Ask the Expert" feature and other tools, are available on the company's new online Tokenization Resource Center.
