The NCUA will host a series of free webinars through December for credit unions focused on building loan portfolios, product pricing and improving internal controls.
Scheduled for Oct. 15, the "Product Pricing: Getting it Right" session will cover how loan size matters to profitability, how to set rates based on internal metrics and how some decisions made in the name of the member may be unprofitable, the NCUA said.
The Nov. 19 webinar's topic is "Building a Loan Portfolio: Four Keys to Lending," and the Dec. 17 webinar will highlight internal controls.

The sessions will take place at 2 p.m. ET and will be hosted by employees from the NCUA's Office of Small Credit Union Initiatives.
