The NCUA will host a free webinar on merger best practices Wednesday, Sept. 17 at 2 p.m. Eastern.
Dominic Carullo and Bob Jones, economic development specialists at the NCUA's Office of Small Credit Union Initiatives, as well as Marilyn Daigle, supervision analyst with the NCUA's Region 1 office, are scheduled to participate.
The featured speakers will address topics including merger structure and negotiations as well as how to maximize the benefits of a merger for credit union members and staff. The speakers will also touch upon the key characteristics of a credit union that is heading toward a merger.
