The $6.5 billion San Diego County Credit Union was a sponsor of the 40th anniversary San Diego LGBT Pride celebration, which attracted more than 300,000 spectators and thousands of participants to a parade on July 19 in San Diego's Hillcrest area. The two-day celebration also included a block party, art exhibit, farmers market and children's garden, along with musical, comedy and dance performances. “We want to ensure that everyone feels welcome at SDCCU and supporting Pride is one way to do that while helping an organization that gives back to the community,” said SDCCU President and CEO Teresa Halleck. Showne here, Team SDCCU sailed SDCCU's giant inflatable sailboat in the 1.1-mile long parade, the fourth largest of its kind in the country, organizers said.
