The $320 million SafeAmerica Credit Union in Pleasanton, Calif., plans to begin installation this summer of the KeyStone system from Corelation Inc., with testing planned for the fall and the debut in early 2015, the company and credit union said in an announcement Tuesday.
SafeAmerica cited the ability to use best-in-class third-party applications for key member interaction channels, such as mobile banking, in its decision to convert.
Launched in 2009, the San Diego-based Corelation now has 26 credit unions signed and 13 live on its system, the company said. SafeAmerica currently runs on the DataSafe platform from Fiserv Inc., according to data from Callahan & Associates.
San Diego-based Symitar, meanwhile, said it signed the $254 million Eastern Credit Union Cooperative Society Ltd. to join the more than 170 credit unions that division of Jack Henry & Associates said now are using the CruiseNet core system.
Eastern Credit Union is the largest credit union in Trinidad and Tobago and the largest to convert to CruiseNet, Jack Henry said in an announcement July 9. Eastern Credit Union cited operational benefits in its decision to convert from the Fiserv DNA platform, Jack Henry said.
Also, the $123 million Michigan Community Credit Union in Jackson is making plans to convert to the Symitar Episys platform at the end of the month.
The 15,600-member Michigan Community said it would close from July 31 at 3 p.m. through Aug. 4 to make the conversion from the Fiserv XP2 system. The credit union alerted members through a series of newsletter articles, social media messages and posters.
