Since 2003, Bethpage Federal Credit Union's sponsorship of the Bethpage Air Show has gone far in spreading the cooperative's brand throughout the Long Island community.
The $5.4 billion Bethpage FCU in Bethpage, N.Y., and the New York State Office of Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation, recently announced the lineup for the show, which will take place at Jones Beach May 24-25.
"This annual event has greatly helped Bethpage build its brand in the Long Island community since we first sponsored the show 11 years ago," said Linda Armyn, senior vice president, corporate strategy, at Bethpage FCU.

She added, "Our sponsorship allows the Long Island community to attend and enjoy an amazing show free of charge, and gives us the opportunity to thank our members, family, friends and neighbors for their support."
Visitors at the Bethpage Air Show will see perennial favorites and a new military aircraft soaring through the skies over the Memorial Day weekend.
New this year is the MV-22 Osprey, a multi-mission, military, tilt rotor aircraft with both a vertical takeoff and landing and short takeoff and landing capability, according to the event's officials.
It is designed to combine the functionality of a conventional helicopter with the long-range, high-speed cruise performance of a turboprop aircraft. The United States Marine Corps and Air Force operate the Osprey.
Military performers confirmed to date include the United States Navy Blue Angels, United States Army Golden Knights Parachute Team, United States Navy Leap Frogs, making their second appearance since 2007, and the MV-22 Osprey, performing at the Bethpage Air Show for the first time.
Civilian performers include American Airpower Museum Warbirds, GEICO Skytypers, Miss GEICO Speedboat, Sean D. Tucker – Team Oracle, Lt. Col. John Klatt – National Guard Reserve, Matt Chapman – Embry Riddle, David Windmiller, Red Bull Air Force, and the John Klatt Airshows – Screamin' Sasquatch Jet Waco Aerobatic Team, also making their debut.
"Each year the Blue Angels perform, we see record numbers of fans convene on Jones Beach, and that makes for an exciting holiday weekend," said Armyn.
