LAKE BUENA VISTA, Fla. — NACUSO has awarded its 2014 Collaboration and Innovation awards to CU Benefits Alliance and the $5.8 billion America First Credit Union in Riverdale, Utah.

Based in Salem, Ore., CU Benefits Alliance is owned by 18 credit unions and provides development, delivery, and management of benefits plans. Accepting the award was John Harris, CEO of the CUSO.

“This is the Academy Award of CUSOs. A special thanks to all of the credit unions that are a part of our group,” said Harris, who also thanked the $464 million Maps Credit Union in Salem, Ore., CU Benefits Alliance's founder, and Mark Zook, president/CEO of Maps.

America First Credit Union received NACUSO's 2014 Credit Union Collaboration & Innovation award. The cooperative has 19 CUSOs, more than any other credit union in the U.S., according to NACUSO.

CU Revest LLC in San Diego received an honorable mention. The CUSO provides valuation and collection of non-real estate secured consumer charge-offs and recycles the accounts into new performing assets and share accounts. CU Revest is partially owned by Servatus Corp. and works with its servicing subsidiary, Credit Solutions Corp.
