EAST

Hudson River Community Credit Union in Corinth, N.Y., has hired Megan Houlihan as its vice president of operations and card services. Houlihan had most recently been a senior consultant for trust and custody operations at KeyBank in Cleveland.

Montgomery County Employees Federal Credit Union in Germantown, Md., has named Teresa Morillo as branch manager of its Rockville location. Morillo has more than eight years of experience in credit union management. She previously served as member service operations and training coordinator with the Educational Systems Federal Credit Union.

Freedom Credit Union in Warminster, Pa., has hired Jim Calista as mortgage lending manager. Calista brings 20-plus years of management experience in the mortgage industry and has worked for Countrywide Home Loans, PNC Mortgage and New York Life.

Jane Wells has been appointed manager of the Crescent Credit Union branch in the Campello neighborhood of Brockton, Mass. Wells takes over for Ray St. Germain, who retired after nearly 14 years of service with the credit union. Wells brings 45 years of banking experience to Campello, having served as manager at Crescent's Eastside Brockton office since 1999. She also spent 30 years with Fleet Bank.

SOUTH

Sandy Steward has been promoted to assistant vice president for IT applications and business support at Langley Federal Credit Union in Newport News, Va. She joined the credit union in 2005 and most recently was senior technical services manager.

America's First Federal Credit Union in Birmingham, Ala., has promoted Karen Deluca and Robin Moore to assistant vice presidents of regional branch operations. Deluca had been manager of branch support and joined America's First in 1985. Moore was formerly branch operations manager and has been with America's First for 28 years. America's First is also naming Stefan Barnette as the facilities/operations manager. Barnette has been with the credit union since 2002 and had been purchasing/facilities manager.

Mark Kummer has joined the Founders Investment Services team in Fort Mill, S.C., as a financial consultant for the department of Founders Federal Credit Union in Lancaster, S.C. He is a CPA who worked for the former Springs Industries and then Allstate and Edward Jones.

Georgia United Credit Union in Duluth, Ga., has promoted three team leaders. Michelle Shelton has been promoted from vice president of marketing to chief development officer. Shawn Michael Turpin has been promoted from vice president of branches to senior vice president. Tonya Harris, director of staff development, has been promoted to vice president of staff development.

Jessica Revoir has been promoted to director of marketing at First Financial Federal Credit Union in Wall, N.J., where she has worked since October 2008.

MIDWEST

Jaimie Miller has been named executive director of the Iowa Credit Union Foundation. She had been director of philanthropy for WesleyLife where she led fundraising efforts for various programs including Meals on Wheels, Hospice and the Good Samaritan program. She also served as the fund development manager for Girl Scouts of Iowa and as a governmental affairs intern for PolicyWorks.

Royal Credit Union in Eau Claire, Wis., has named Lowell Sutton as senior home loan underwriter. He will be responsible for assisting all of the home loan team members to help determine the best course of action for complex loan applications.

WEST

Credit Union of Texas has promoted Eric Pointer to executive vice president. He had joined the credit union in 1993 and most recently was president/CEO of Credit Union Services Inc., a CUSO of the Dallas credit union.

Steve Brandon has been promoted to president/CEO of Honda Federal Credit Union in Torrance, Calif., succeeding the retiring Jim Updike. Brandon had been chief operating officer of the credit union he joined in 1991.

Floyd Rummel III has been promoted to president/CEO of Northern Hills Federal Credit Union in Sturgis, S.D., where he had been serving as interim CEO/executive vice president after Cindy Griffin retired. Rummel previously had been president of Dakota Territory Federal Credit Union in Deadwood, S.D.

Sound Credit Union in Tacoma, Wash., has promoted Troy Garry to vice president/chief financial officer. Garry has more than 10 years of credit union and banking experience and had joined Sound CU as the leader of its Risk Management Department, including internal auditing.

VENDORS

Linda Pettit has re-joined CO-OP Financial Services in Rancho Cucamonga, Calif., as vice president of customer care. Pettit had been CEO for the past five years at California Center Credit Union of Ontario, Calif., and also has worked as a consultant and as director, Schools Market, at ECCU in Brea, Calif. She also had spent six years as a director of membership development at CO-OP.
