Mountain America Credit Union recently announced the addition of a new branch, which is the result of recent merger with the $17 million A+ Credit Union of Idaho Falls, Idaho.

“We are very excited about this new location in Idaho Falls,” says Jason Rogers, senior vice president of branch administration for the $3.5 billion Mountain America in West Jordan, Utah. “Phil and his team bring great experience to Mountain America, and will continue to provide the quality customer service the residents of Idaho Falls appreciate.”

The new branch at 525 West Sunnyside Road in Idaho Falls, is managed by Phil Sorensen, a Blackfoot, Idaho native who began his financial services career just over 27 years ago, the credit union said.

“We look forward to being able to serve our members and carry on A+ Credit Union's tradition of providing quality service and a variety of financial products now as part of Mountain America Credit Union,” said Sorensen. “Some of our services at the Sunnyside branch include three drive-thru lanes, a walk-up ATM, a night drop and space to accommodate mortgage officers and investment representatives within the branch.”

The Sunnyside branch provides a wide range of financial products and services, including traditional savings, insurance, investments, auto and RV loans, and a full array of mortgage loans and services. Mountain America also offers a rewards checking account called MyStyle Checking that allows account holders to customize their accounts with rewards such as music downloads, loan discounts and credit monitoring.

Being federally chartered, Mountain America can also provide members with a wide assortment of services, including real estate and business lending, the credit union said.
