The $424 million BrightStar Credit Union in Sunrise, Fla., presented a Financial Fitness Fair on Jan. 30 at Walter C. Young Middle School. About 200 people attended the session for high school students, families and small business owners, held in partnership with the city of Pembroke Pines.

The fair included a 'meet and greet' with Pembroke Pines Mayor Frank Ortis and sportscaster Jimmy Cefalo, financial literacy and educational seminars, more than two dozen vendor tables with businesses from the local community, music, giveaways and free pizza.

Cosmo the mascot also helped keep things lively.
