The $139 million New Cumberland Federal Credit Union in New Cumberland, Pa., plans to convert to the Episys core processing solution from Jack Henry & Associates, the company and credit union said this week.
“We simply outgrew our longtime core system and began a search for a new more progressive, growth-enabling technology platform,” the 17,000-member credit union's CEO, Donald Varner, said in the announcement.
New Cumberland FCU plans to run the system in-house, according to the Missouri-based JHA, which now claims more than 750 credit unions on its Symitar Episys and Cruise platforms.
The Pennsylvania credit union currently is on the Fiserv Advantage platform, according to data from Callahan & Associates. Callahan data shows 42 credit unions currently on that system.
