Franklin Mint Federal Credit Union in Broomall, Pa., has announced three promotions. They are Jennifer Strasinski, district manager to vice president; Patricia Holder Dean, market manager to assistant vice president; and Nino DiRienzo, branch manager to assistant vice president and market manager. Strasinski oversees FMFCU's business development and 11 branches; Holder Dean oversees two branches and DiRienzo oversees two branches.

SOUTH

Redstone Federal Credit Union in Huntsville, Ala., announced the passing of 18-year Director Pamela Huxford Philyaw. Philyaw, a retired Boeing aerospace engineer, died on Jan. 4 at the age of 79. She first began serving Redstone in 1985 as a member of the Credit Advisory Committee and was appointed to the board in 1996.

Gloria Thomas has been promoted to vice president of branch services at Commonwealth Credit Union in Frankfort, Ky. Thomas has been with the credit union since 1997 and has held management positions in branch operations, accounting, fraud and enterprise risk management.

Martin Head has been named chief lending officer at MAX Credit Union. A 24-year veteran in the financial services industry, Head had been senior vice president of business services at the Montgomery, Ala., credit union.

Robins Federal Credit Union in Warner Robins, Ga., has named three new assistant vice presidents. Shane Reagan, assistant vice president of consumer lending, has been with the credit union for 20 years, including the past five as manager of the Consumer Lending Department. Ashley Minshew, assistant vice president of mortgage lending, has been with Robins FCU for her entire 22-year career, including the past seven as Mortgage Department manager. She's a member of the Mortgage Bankers Association of Georgia and the CUNA Lending Council. John Cozart, assistant vice president of information technology, has been with Robins FCU for 13 years, including the past five as manager of the IT Department.

United Federal Credit Union of St. Joseph, Mich., has named Starlette Accurso-Owens as branch manager in Van Buren, Ark., after having served as assistant branch manager and member service adviser at the credit union's Fort Smith and Van Buren branches.

Greater Abbeville Federal Credit Union in Abbeville, S.C., has hired Darlene Hall as an accountant after she had served the past 14 years as an account/finance professional at Sunshine House in Greenville, S.C. GAFCU also has re-hired Latrinda Bowie to a newly created position in business development and lending. She has worked at several banks and other financial institutions in the area, including at GAFCU.

MIDWEST

Kellogg Community Federal Credit Union in Battle Creek, Mich., has hired Ed Mounce as business services manager and Courtney Hollister as compliance manager. Mounce has more than 12 years of banking experience. Hollister has more than two years of experience and is a Certified CUNA Credit Union Compliance Expert.

Debra Madison-Levi has joined the Iowa Credit Union League in Des Moines as executive assistant to the CEO. She will provide executive and administrative support for the ICUL CEO and for the Affiliates Management Company and ICUL boards. She has worked for the state of Iowa in a variety of capacities, including as an executive assistant to former Gov. Tom Vilsack.

WEST

Charles Goss has been promoted to executive vice president and chief lending officer at Security Service Federal Credit Union in San Antonio. Goss had returned to the Texas credit union as a senior vice president and CLO in 2013 after three years as the CLO at the $8.2 billion The Golden 1 Credit Union in Sacramento, Calif. He had spent 13 years at SSFCU prior to that and was vice president of Texas lending when he left.

AERO Federal Credit Union in Glendale, Ariz., has hired Angie Avers as its new assistant vice president of marketing. Originally from the Midwest, she has a track record in building client retention, brand awareness and social media presence.

Pacific Community Credit Union in Fullerton, Calif., has hired Mark Hodge as a real estate account manager. He has more than 14 years of experience as a loan consultant and officer.

United Federal Credit Union of St. Joseph, Mich., has named Rebecca Greenspan as branch manager at its Bible Way Branch in Reno, Nev. She had been a business banking consultant for Wells Fargo at 11 northern Nevada branches.
