Rentsys Recovery Services in College Station, Texas, said it has acquired IT-Lifeline of Spokane, Wash., a provider of disaster recovery and compliance testing solutions to credit unions and other financial services firms.
Rentsys already had been offering its business continuity services through IT-Lifeline and now will incorporate that company's BlackCloud vaulting, testing and recovery solution into its own disaster recovery services.
Terms were not announced but Rentsys said it will retain IT-Lifeline's support team and its knowledge in cloud technology and regulatory requirements.
“This acquisition expands our product offering and enhances our ability to meet the evolving business continuity and compliance needs of our customers,” Walt Thomasson, managing director of Rentsys Recovery Services, said in the company's announcement.
