Philadelphia Federal Credit Union wraps up art and savings contest with local schools.

The $879 million Philadelphia Federal Credit Union has wrapped up its Back to Savings Art Contest in which the 111,200-member PFCU partnered with private and public schools to help teach elementary school students the importance of starting to save money at a young age. Hundreds of young artists submitted entries depicting how they save money and thousands of Philadelphians voted for their favorite entries on the credit union’s Facebook page.

This year’s winners received a surprise visit from PFCU’s mascot, Moola Moola, and financial educator Dominique Jenkins, who presented the winners with personal $100 savings accounts and their classrooms with $250 in brand new school supplies.
