Former British Prime Minister Tony Blair will be speaking at CUNA's 2014 Governmental Affairs Conference in Washington, CUNA confirmed on Tuesday.

Blair will provide a worldly perspective on credit unions with his speech at the conference, set for Feb. 23-27 at the Washington Convention Center, the trade group said.

Blair served as prime minister from 1997-2007. He has since launched the Tony Blair Faith Foundation and Africa Governance Initiative.

Former Secretary of State Madeline Albright is also going to speak at the GAC, CUNA has announced.
