The $1.3 billion Royal Credit Union in Eau Claire, Wis., has named veteran technologist Pete Nohelty as its new executive vice president and chief technology officer.

Nohelty will oversee enterprise technical operations, infrastructure and solutions for the 150, 600-member RCU, which now has 24 full-service offices in Wisconsin and three in Minnesota.

His new employer said Nohelty comes to RCU with nearly 20 years in senior-level information technology positions, including at Cray Computer, Hospital Sisters Health System-Western Wisconsin Division and Cisco.

Nohelty has a bachelor's degree in IT from the University of Phoenix and is also a graduate of Chippewa Valley Technical College in electronics technology. RCU said he also is a two-time recipient of the Cray Research Leadership and Innovation Award and is member of Chippewa Valley IT Professio
