Federal prosecutors are accusing a former credit union employee of allegedly embezzling $84,113 from the $32 million Dowell Federal Credit Union in Tulsa, Okla.

Brandi L. Ward has been charged with embezzling the funds from December 2008 to February 2013, according to court documents filed in U.S. District Court in Tulsa by federal prosecutors on Nov. 26.

Court papers do not identify what was Ward's position with the credit union.

Dowell FCU serves more than 6,000 members.
