The $890 million DuPont Community Credit Union in Waynesboro, Va., plans to convert to the Episys core processing platform, Jack Henry & Associates announced on Tuesday.

The 64,900-member DuPont Community currently runs on the Fiserv DataSafe platform, according to data from Callahan & Associates.

The Virginia credit union cited functionality, integration and data access in its decision, which it said it reached after an extensive evaluation.

Symitar, a San Diego-based subsidiary of Missouri-based Jack Henry, currently serves more than 750 credit unions, the company said.

The company also announced earlier this month that it has completed the conversion of the $5.7 billion American Airlines Federal Credit Union at Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport to the Episys platform. AACU had announced its plans to convert from the Fiserv Spectrum platform in February 2012.
