The CEOs of three credit unions in Eugene, Ore., have joined in a video series reminding viewers of the credit union difference and the need to keep intact the tax exemption.

They are Bob Newcomb of the $1.3 billion SELCO Community CU, Mandy Jones of the $1.2 billion Oregon Community CU and John Iglesias of the $826 million Northwest Community CU.

The four-video series focuses on the credit union benefits to consumers and communities, the credit union difference and the importance of preserving the federal tax exemption.

The four videos are posted at selco.org/CUtaxation.

“We need credit union advocates to stand up for the choice to bank at a cooperative. To make your voice heard today, visit donttaxmycreditunion.org and contact Congress,” SELCO said Monday in a statement.
