The $796 million Texas Trust Credit Union of Mansfield opened its 13th branch last week in Arlington.

The cooperative now operates three branches in Arlington, which means most of its members are not more than five miles from a Texas Trust branch, the Dallas-area credit union said.

The 3,760-square-foot building has been renovated into a full-service branch offering commercial and two regular drive-through lanes and a drive-up ATM.

The branch is staffed by eight full-time employees, five of which are new hires. Three-year employee Whitney McLeod is the manager of the new branch.

“Whether we are adding mobile banking services, ATMs, or branches, our goal is to make it easy for members to do business with us,” said Jim Minge, president/CEO of Texas Trust CU. “Arlington is such a large community that we really need multiple branches to serve our members effectively.”

Texas Trust CU serves more than 60,000 members.
