The Iowa Credit Union League in Des Moines said it has reached 100% membership affiliation with the state's 116 credit unions.

The $120 million, 7,890-member First Federal Credit Union in Cedar Rapids recently re-affiliated with ICUL and CUNA, the league said.

First Federal Credit Union is Iowa's only federally chartered credit union. The remaining 115 are state-chartered, according to ICUL.

“We are very pleased to have First Federal Credit Union re-affiliate with ICUL and CUNA, and we will work hard to provide exceptional value to help them grow and improve the financial lives of the members they serve,” said Patrick S. Jury, president/CEO of ICUL. “Through our united advocacy, collaboration and innovation efforts, the Iowa credit union movement is positioned to continue to grow even stronger.”

Tom Chalstrom, president/CEO, First Federal Credit Union said in the announcement, “We are excited to be affiliated with the ICUL and CUNA. Both are pre-eminent organizations who will provide vital resources and partner to help us fulfill our goals in serving our members.”
