NAFCU on Tuesday said it has promoted two of its regulatory experts to director level.
They are Jiji Bahhur, now director of compliance, and Michael Coleman, now director of regulatory affairs, the trade group said.
Bahhur and Coleman had previously held the positions of regulatory compliance counsel, NAFCU said in its announcement.

The move follows the recent departure of Steve Van Beek, the former vice president of regulatory compliance who has joined a law firm in suburban Detroit.
Bahhur is now responsible for all aspects of NAFCU's regulatory compliance assistance program, while Coleman will serve as staff liaison to federal regulatory agencies and help develop and implement the association's regulatory policies, as well as analyze and explain policy issues impacting NAFCU's members, the trade group said.
"I am confident that, under their direction, NAFCU's regulatory affairs and regulatory compliance operations will keep members up to date on critical regulatory compliance issues and ensure their interests are well represented before NCUA, CFPB and other federal agencies having an impact on credit unions," Carrie Hunt, NAFCU's senior vice president of government affairs and general counsel, said in the announcement.
