More than $40,000 was raised for financial literacy efforts in the Philadelphia area in the third-annual Kiss-a-Pig Financial Literacy Fundraiser by the $1.4 billion TruMark Financial Credit Union in Trevose, Pa.
The 28 community leaders, professionals and teachers spent three months securing sponsors and donations and the event culminated with some smooching Bubbles the pot-bellied pig at a Sept. 25 event.
