The $502 million Financial Center Federal Credit Union in Indianapolis has hired veteran IT manager Cameron Minges as its new senior vice president and chief information officer.
Minges has more than 30 years of programming and technology management experience, most recently at the $724 million Vantage CU in St. Louis and prior to that at the $1.2 billion Centra CU and $951 million FORUM CU in Indianapolis.
At FORUM, he co-founded the FORUM Solutions CUSO that developed the TAPS lending origination software operation that was later sold to Akcelerant Software LLC in Philadelphia, his new employer said.
“Cam's depth of knowledge, passion for innovation, and leadership skills will help Financial Center deliver an exceptional experience to its membership on a more consistent basis and help us continue to be an industry leader in the areas of technology, security and new service adoption,” Financial Center CEO/President Kevin Ryan said in the announcement on Thursday.
The announcement added, “Minges believes strongly in mentoring others, and has helped guide six individuals who are now chief information offers for progressive credit unions around the country. An avid cyclist, he often bikes to work from his home in Carmel.”
