John Kolhoff, director of the Michigan Office of Credit Unions, has been elected chairman of NASCUS, the association said Monday.
Kolhoff was elected during the NASCUS annual meeting last week in Coeur D'Alene, Idaho, and three sitting NASCUS Board members officially began new three-year term: John fields, Linda Jekel and Steve Pleger.
Pleger is senior deputy commissioner with the Georgia Department of Banking & Finance. Fields is Deputy Chief Examiner with the Louisiana Office of Financial Institutions and Jekel is director of the Division of Credit Unions with the Washington Department of Financial Institutions.
Along with Kolhoff, officers for the next year include chairman-elect, Michael Wettrick, deputy superintendent for credit unions, Division of Financial Institutions, Ohio Department of Commerce, and secretary/treasurer, Mary Ellen O'Neill, director, Financial Institution Division, Connecticut Department of Banking.
Kolhoff also appointed Jay Bienvenu, senior deputy commissioner with the Massachusetts Division of Banks, to a one-year term on the NASCUS Board.
Also on the board are Orla Beth Peck, supervisor of credit unions, Utah Department of Financial Institutions, and Werner Paul, deputy commissioner of the Virginia Bureau of Financial Institutions, NASCUS said.
