Longtime publications executive Mark Condon is retiring from CUNA, the trade group said on Monday.
Condon, senior vice president of business and consumer publishing, will be stepping down on Sept. 30 and plans to pursue a master's degree in history and plans to eventually teach, Madison, Wis.-based CUNA said in an announcement.
Condon has been involved with CUNA publications including Credit Union Magazine, E-Scan and News Now, as well as with partnerships with groups such as Coopera and efforts such as International Credit Union Day, the announcement said.
“Mark is one of the most knowledgeable and highly regarded leaders at CUNA. His historical knowledge and passion about all things credit unions always has been and continues to be impressive,” CUNA President/CEO Bill Cheney said.
“We all thank Mark for his dedicated service, and wish him well on all his future endeavors. He will be missed,” Cheney said.
