Capital recovery CUSO CU Revest LLC and consulting firm Dollar Associates LLC said they have teamed up to help credit unions in several areas.
According to CU Revest President/CEO Mike Joplin, the Birmingham, Ala.-based Dollar Associates has been brought on board to provide expertise in the areas of regulatory guidance, compliance, credit union capital building and member recovery.
Dollar Associates is headed by Dennis Dollar, a former NCUA chairman, who is now the principal partner at the consulting firm.
Based in San Diego and partially owned by Servatus Corp., CU Revest said it provides valuation and collection of non-real estate secured consumer charge-offs and recycles the accounts into new performing assets and share accounts.CU Revest works with Servatus' servicing subsidiary, Credit Solutions Corp.
Dollar Associates' consultative services to credit unions include assistance with field of membership, executive recruiting, regulatory compliance and strategic planning.
