Digital Credit Union Crosses 100K Mark in RDC Adoption

Massachusetts credit union was early adopter of remote deposits, has now processed more than $1 billion so far.

The $5.1 billion Digital Federal Credit Union said this week that more than 100,000 of its 399,000 members now use remote deposit capture technology to deposit checks to the credit union.

Working with EasCorp’s Vertifi software arm, the Marlborough, Mass., credit union was an early adopter of RDC technology, first offering it to desktop scanner users in March 2008. EasCorp began offering the service several months earlier.
