The $24 million Matagorda County Credit Union in Bay City, Texas, is planning to convert to the Sharetec core processing system from Data Systems of Texas, the company and credit union said.
The 3,290-member credit union cited the ability to offer more products and services in its decision to convert to the new solution, the Waco, Texas-based company said in a release.
Data Systems of Texas is one of four regional distributor-owners of the Sharetec system and now has 68 credit union clients. Nearly 300 overall run on the Sharetec system.
Data Systems said the credit union now is running on a system from an Alaska-based firm.
