Pat Brekken, president/CEO of the $256 million Richfield-Bloomington Credit Union in Richfield, Minn., has been re-elected chair of the Minnesota Credit Union Foundation board of directors.
Dave Larson, senior vice president of the $1.6 billion Affinity Plus Federal Credit Union in St. Paul, has been re-elected as the board's vice chair, and Brian Sherrick, president/CEO of the $555 million Postal Credit Union in Woodbury, has been re-elected as the board's secretary/treasurer.
The board officers were re-elected to their posts at an MNCUF board meeting last week.
Also serving on the board are Larry Champeaux, president/CEO of the $73 million Northern Communities Credit Union in Duluth; Mary Hansen, president/CEO of the $634 million Mayo Employees Federal Credit Union in Rochester; and Kathy Harrington, president/CEO of the $95 million Heartland Credit Union in Inner Grove Heights.
At the MNCUF annual meeting in July, Glen Durbahn, vice president of marketing and member relations of the $915 million Hiway Federal Credit Union, was elected to fill the remaining two years of a three-year term that was vacated in January.
“The Minnesota Credit Union Foundation has become a more nimble, focused and impactful organization in recent years. I appreciate the leadership and direction provided by all members of the board,” Brekken said. “I look forward to making continued progress and working to benefit credit unions and communities across the state.”
