The $763 million Texas Trust Credit Union in Mansfield will open a full-service branch in DeSoto High School that will employ high school students who will receive on-the-job training and experience in serving members, processing financial transactions and managing the branch.

The branch opening is part of the credit union's partnership – Texas Trust Spirit in Action – with the DeSoto Independent School District that will provide financial services and education to employees, students and their families. In addition to the in-school branch, the school district will receive financial rewards, financial materials for classroom training and financial educational programs for parents and faculty.

Texas Trust CU also will offer a specially designed DeSoto Eagle-branded Spirit Debit Reward card. The school district will receive 15 cents each time a cardholder uses the card to make a purchase.
