Two credit unions – one in Florida, the other in Minnesota – have announced they are switching core processors.
The $428 million Community Credit Union in Rockledge, Fla., said it is converting to the Symitar Episys platform, citing long-term viability and third-party connectivity concerns with its current system.
The $74 million Fulda Area Credit Union in Fulda, Minn., meanwhile, said it is converting to the UltraData Enterprise solution from Harland Financial Solutions, as well as that company's Cavion electronic banking solutions for phone, mobile and online.
The credit union cited its satisfaction with its existing relationship with Harland's LaserPro and DepositPro loan and deposit origination and documentation solutions.
According to the Technology Survey from Callahan & Associates, Community Credit Union currently runs on the Fiserv CUBE platform while Fulda Area CU is a Sharetec client.
Jack Henry & Associates claims more than 700 credit union users of the Symitar core processing systems, while about 400 credit unions run on UltraData, which will soon have a new owner after the HFS sale to Davis + Henderson closes.
